3D Product Imagery and Animation for Capral Aluminium
Capral Aluminium is Australia's largest extruder and distributor of aluminium. On the recommendation of a contact at Capral, their marketing team brought us on to produce 3D imagery and animations for their window and door systems and their Amplimesh security screen range, and the work continued across many products over 5 years.

Why 3D
More Control Than a Photoshoot
3D gave Capral's marketing team more control over how each product was presented. We could break a product apart into an exploded view and animate it, or build scenes that would be impossible to set up for real, so every image showed exactly what the marketing team needed to communicate. It was also faster and more cost-effective than organising a photoshoot for each product.
How We Worked
From Base Models to Finished Scenes
Capral supplied base 3D models of their products, and we modelled anything that wasn't available, such as the geometric aluminium sections. From there we handled the rest of each project, including texturing, building the scenes, lighting, rendering and animation.
What We Made
Imagery and Animation Across the Range
For Amplimesh, the security screen brand Capral owns and developed, we produced imagery showing the screens' bushfire and fire ratings, along with general security screen images for marketing. We also created exploded view renders of the louvre and slat privacy screens, plus detail renders showing how they're fixed in place. Our largest pieces of work were full product animations for the Urban Comfort 284TB Sliding Door, the Urban Comfort 282TB Awning Window and the Artisan Architectural 934 Panoramic Sliding Door.

Over 5 years, we produced 3D imagery and animation across Capral's window and door systems and their Amplimesh security screen range. The work ranged from individual detail renders through to full product animations, built from Capral's own product models wherever they were available.
