Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information.
Who we are
This policy explains how Escher Group Pty Ltd (ABN 56 638 285 784), trading as Escher Group ("we", "us"), handles personal information collected through eschergroup.com.au.
We take your privacy seriously and aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Last updated 2 October 2026.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your first and last name, company, email address, phone number, location, website and your message.
To protect the form from spam, we also record the IP address your enquiry was sent from.
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
When you browse the site, Google Analytics collects information about your visit, such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the kind of device and browser you use, and your approximate location. This information doesn't identify you by name.
We also keep our own simple visit statistics: which pages are viewed, for how long and how far down, which links are clicked, how far people get through the contact form (never what is typed into it), where visits come from, and the kind of device, browser and approximate location. These don't identify you either. When you send an enquiry, we note the pages you looked at on our site that day alongside it.
We don't ask for sensitive information, and we'd ask that you don't include it in your message.
How we use it
We use your enquiry details to reply to you, to talk with you about working together, and to keep a record of our conversations.
We send you an email confirming we've received your enquiry. We don't add you to our newsletter because you sent an enquiry.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send it to you. Every newsletter includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
We use analytics information to understand how people use our site, which pages are useful and which lead people to get in touch, so we can improve it.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for anything you wouldn't reasonably expect.
Cookies and analytics
Our site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which sets cookies in your browser to recognise repeat visits and measure how the site is used.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works normally either way.
Our own visit statistics don't use cookies. To count visitors without identifying anyone, the site turns your network address and browser type into a random code that changes every day; the key used to make it is deleted after a day, so the code can't be traced back to you, and your address itself is never stored. The site also saves the date of your first visit in your browser, so we can tell new visitors from returning ones. These statistics are kept for up to 25 months, then deleted.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site, and they handle personal information on our behalf:
Vercel hosts the website, and Neon hosts the database where enquiries are stored. Both run in Sydney, Australia, although Vercel may also deliver pages from servers in other countries.
Resend sends the emails generated by the contact form. Klaviyo manages our newsletter list and sends the newsletter. Google provides Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. These providers are based in the United States, so information you give us may be stored or processed there.
We take reasonable steps to choose providers that protect personal information properly. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How we store and protect it
Enquiries are stored in a secure database that only signed-in members of our team can access, and our site is served over an encrypted connection.
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and for our business records, then delete them. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@eschergroup.com.au and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question about privacy, or think we've mishandled your personal information, contact us at info@eschergroup.com.au or on +61 8 6328 9493. We'll look into it and get back to you.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we change how the site works. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
