3D Imagery and Animation for Speedpanel
Speedpanel is an Australian manufacturer of fire-rated and acoustic wall systems, made in Melbourne from a lightweight steel shell filled with an aerated cement core. Over 4 years, we produced 3D imagery and animation to help them explain the system, from static renders for their fire certification presentations through to animations showing how the walls perform acoustically and how they’re installed.

Fire Certification
Static 3D and GIFs for CPD Presentations
Speedpanel runs continuing professional development (CPD) presentations for building professionals, including sessions on fire safety and certification. We created static 3D imagery for those presentations, giving the presenters detailed visuals of the wall system to talk through as they covered the fire content.
Acoustic Performance
Animating Sound Between Spaces
Speedpanel is commonly used for intertenancy walls, the walls that separate neighbouring apartments and townhouses, where keeping noise from travelling between homes is a big part of the job. We produced 3D animations showing how the system performs acoustically in those settings, so the benefit could be seen and not just described in a spec sheet.
Installation and Product
Showing How It Goes Together
We also produced installation animations that walk through how the system is put together on site, along with general animations explaining the product itself. Speedpanel supplied a 3D model of the product at the start of our first project, and from there we built everything else ourselves across every project that followed, including the modelling, scenes, lighting and textures.
